Specialty Course – Advanced Sculptra Techniques on Periosteum

Are you an experienced provider looking to add more techniques, such as the game changer of Sculptra placed on periosteum to your toolbox? We have always felt that repetition with procedures will help you gain confidence and skills to be able to go out and inject with more confidence.

This course is designed for experienced injectors who are looking to expand their knowledge and skills in the area of bio-stimulation with the use of Sculptra placed on periosteum. Attendees will learn advanced techniques or practice basic techniques for achieving preservation of aging bones of our population, starting at age 45. Using just 2 vials of Sculptra placed correctly on bone, using Dr. Shino Bay Aguilera’s tried and true technique.

Topics that will be covered:

• anatomical considerations for each patient
• patient assessment
• injection techniques for achieving optimal results
• managing complications and adverse reactions

With hands-on experience, attendees will gain the confidence and expertise needed to improve their skills with adding advanced Sculptra techniques into their practice. This course is designed for aesthetic providers who want to enhance their skills, attract new clients, and stay ahead in the competitive field of cosmetic injectables.

Prerequisites:

Prior completion of an accredited neurotoxin and filler course. Malpractice insurance that is specific for aesthetics. Be a licensed medical professional such as a registered nurse, NP, PA-C, or physician.

Cost: $500

Time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Doors open at 8:30 am at Revive Aesthetics Academy.

Models:

You will bring your own models. For this course, you will need to bring 3 models, with time slots at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 1:00 and 2:00, depending on the number of participants.. They will pay for 2 vials of Sculptra at $450 a vial. (Not samples). A non-refundable deposit of $200 must be made by Venmo to @stefanie-gatica prior to course. The patient can also pay cash at the clinic for a down payment. For this advanced technique, the product must be mixed 48 – 72 hours prior to injections, unlike for the basic method. In the case that your model does not show up, you must pay the difference of $700 for the two vials of Sculptra. You will be able to take them with you and inject the model at a later time. Final payment must be made by check or cash the day of the treatment. If models want to pay with credit card, they must add on 4% of their total cost since we are offering the lowest price per vial. Payments will be made to Revive Dermatology Clinic and Spa.

Nursing CEs are not available for this course. Light lunch will be provided.
