Hands-On Cadaver Training – SEPTEMBER 28 & 29th, 2024 – link below

This course is designed for experienced injectors who are looking to expand their knowledge and skills in the area of cosmetic injections by having hands on experience with cadaver specimens. Limited to 15 participants.

Small Group Cadaver Training – September 28th and 29th

Dr. Cody Koch MD, Ph.D., who is board certified in both Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Koch received his medical and surgical training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. He has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters and travels nationally and internationally as a guest speaker. Dr. Koch currently practices in West Des Moines, IA, at Koch and Carlisle Plastic Surgery.
Stefanie Gatica, DNP, is a well respected aesthetics injector and has 20 years of aesthetics experience. Stefanie owns and is a provider at Revive Dermatology Clinic and Spa in Ankeny and has been providing aesthetic injection trainings for 10 years. Dr. Gatica is passionate about real – life pearls that you can immediately put to use in your own practice. She is the founder of Revive Aesthetics Academy.

September 27th, Cocktail hour 5:30 – 7:30
September 28th, Didactic and hands on dissection. 2-3 participants per specimen.
September 29th – Evaluating facial muscles for neurotoxin placements. Overview of handheld ultrasound use in aesthetics.
Course will end by 2:00pm on September 29th, so attendees can travel home.
DSM airport.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided on Saturday, September 28th. Breakfast and a boxed lunch will be provided on Sunday.
Room Block at the Residence Inn in Ankeny, IA, located in the district.

Day 2 will consist of a dissection by Dr. Koch along with a discussion about depth of neurotoxin placement. We will also have an opportunity to use handheld ultrasound devices to further our knowledge on handling injection complications.

After completing this weekend opportunity, you will receive 12 CMEs.
