Aseptic Injection Technique

$1,000.00

What You Will Learn

Participants will develop advanced understanding and confidence in:

  • Recognizing early signs of vascular compromise before progression
    • Identifying high-risk vascular anatomy and injection danger zones
    • Hyaluronidase dosing protocols, including appropriate volume, frequency, and repetition
    • Step-by-step management of vascular occlusion and skin ischemia
    • Identification and management of delayed-onset complications
    • Structured follow-up protocols to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
    • Clear, professional patient communication during high-risk scenarios
    • Proper documentation and medico-legal considerations
    • Referral pathways and indications for escalation of care

Aseptic Injection Technique

This course is designed for injectors who want to elevate their clinical standards through consistent, precise, and disciplined aseptic technique.

In aesthetic medicine, outcomes are not only determined by product selection and injection skill. They are equally dependent on how well a provider controls the treatment environment, minimizes contamination risk, and maintains strict procedural integrity.

Led by Stefanie Gatica, DNP, nationally recognized injector and one of only 14 MD Codes™ Trainers in the United States, this training reflects the same high-level standards taught by Dr. Mauricio de Maio, with a focus on the aseptic principles that support safe, reproducible outcomes.

Why This Course Matters

Many injectors are taught general concepts of cleanliness, but lack a structured, standardized approach to aseptic technique in practice.

Small inconsistencies in preparation, handling, or injection flow can increase the risk of complications such as infection, biofilm formation, and delayed inflammatory responses.

This course addresses those gaps by teaching a methodical, step-by-step approach to maintaining aseptic conditions throughout the entire treatment process.

The emphasis is on consistency, control, and clinical awareness.

What You Will Learn

Participants will develop a refined understanding of:

  • The principles of aseptic technique in aesthetic medicine
    • Treatment room setup and environmental control
    • Proper skin preparation and antiseptic protocols
    • Safe handling and preparation of injectables and instruments
    • Maintaining sterility during multi-step and multi-syringe treatments
    • Injection flow and sequencing to reduce contamination risk
    • Preventing cross-contamination in high-volume practice settings
    • Identifying breaks in technique and correcting them in real time
    • Reducing risk of infection, biofilm formation, and inflammatory complications

This training reflects the level of detail and discipline required in advanced MD Codes™ education, where precision in technique directly impacts patient safety and outcomes.

Hands-On Clinical Application

Participants will engage in guided practice focused on implementing aseptic technique with intention and consistency.

This includes:

  • Treatment room setup and workflow optimization
    • Proper preparation of products and materials
    • Injection sequencing with aseptic control
    • Identification and correction of common technique errors

Hands-on application ensures that participants leave with a clear understanding of how to integrate these standards into daily practice.

Who This Course Is For

This training is ideal for:

  • New injectors building strong foundational habits
    • Experienced injectors seeking to refine and standardize their technique
    • Providers working in high-volume practices who want to reduce risk
    • Clinicians committed to delivering safe, consistent, and elevated care
