Beginner Injector Mentorship

6-Month Clinical Mentorship Program

Led by Lauren King, BSN

The Beginner Injector Mentorship is a structured, six-month clinical program designed for providers early in their aesthetic career who want guided exposure to real-world practice while building confidence in injectable treatments.

This program provides consistent clinical insight, observational learning, and hands-on application within a supportive, high-performing aesthetic practice.

Participants gain a clear understanding of how consultations, treatment planning, and injectable procedures are approached in a real clinical environment.

Program Overview

This mentorship is designed to bridge the gap between certification and confident clinical practice.

Participants are supported through ongoing case discussion, in-clinic observation, and supervised clinical application, allowing them to develop both foundational skill and clinical awareness.

What’s Included

Monthly Revive Clinical Case Conference

Participants join the Revive Clinical Case Conference, a monthly virtual session led by Stefanie Gatica, DNP.

These sessions are designed to strengthen clinical thinking through real patient scenarios.

Participants may:

  • Present patient cases
    • Discuss treatment planning and approach
    • Ask clinical questions
    • Submit cases in advance if unable to attend

This structured environment supports development of a more thoughtful and systematic approach to injectable treatments.

Private Clinical Shadow Days with Lauren

Participants receive three private clinical shadow days with Lauren throughout the six-month program.

Each shadow day includes approximately six hours of in-clinic observation.

During these immersion days, participants will observe:

  • Patient consultations and assessments
    • Treatment planning and clinical decision-making
    • Neurotoxin treatments
    • Dermal filler treatments
    • Clinical workflow and patient communication

Shadow days are scheduled flexibly throughout the mentorship period.

Supervised Clinical Injection Day (Optional Bonus)

Participants have the opportunity to complete one supervised 4 hour clinical injection day during the program.

This experience is designed to provide guided exposure to treating patients in a structured and supportive environment.

Under direct supervision, participants will:

  • Perform injectable treatments with step-by-step guidance
    • Apply foundational injection techniques in a real patient setting
    • Receive feedback on product placement, safety, and clinical approach
    • Build confidence through controlled, hands-on experience

Participation in this clinical component is optional and available to those who meet licensing and insurance requirements.

Requirements for Clinical Injection Day

To participate in the hands-on clinical portion, participants must hold:

  • An active Iowa license or multi-state RN license
    • Active malpractice insurance

Participants who do not meet these requirements will still complete all other components of the mentorship program, including case conferences and clinical observation.

This mentorship is ideal for:

  • New or recently certified injectors
    • Providers transitioning into aesthetic medicine
